50 Ways to Strengthen Your Marriage

If you are going to be in the kingdom of God, and you are going to be married, Have a marriage that honors God. Have a marriage that RE-PRESENTS what the nature of God is like in the earth. Have a marriage that can be replicated. Ask yourself this question, “if everyone I know treated their spouse the way I treat mine every day, how much Glory would God get?” How much honor would God get? Would society be better or worse?

Married leaders should strive to manifest this list. God forbid that you should be following a married leader and their spouse is not joyfully by their side. As a follower, you need to know what spirit is preventing them from walking in the love of God. You need to know what is keeping them from manifesting the love of God in their marriage. Their marriage is seed to your life. Their marriage reflects their character, their nature and their ways.

If you don’t see the spouse… ask Holy Spirit why? He will tell you the truth. Then ask yourself, what should my response be in light of what Holy Spirit says? How many of these marriage strengtheners do you see your leaders manifesting consistently?

Marriage is about learning how to manifest the fruit of the spirit. This list is loaded with the fruit of the spirit. Notice we said FRUITS and not GIFTS. Gifts of the spirit are not eternal. Fruit of the spirit is the nature of God. When you are strengthening your marriage, you are cultivating the character, the nature and the ways of God. In a nutshell, that is the love walk.
