A Hammer and a Sword

Life as we knew it is over.

We are living in a new era. There are two opposing forces contending for control. For those who chose to be a part of the kingdom of God, You must now learn the art of building a business and fighting at the same time. That is the era we are now living in. We see an example of that in the book of Nehemiah 4:15-18. In this era, you will need to master using a hammer and a sword. If God gave you that business idea, he intends to see you through to its completion. Therein lies the battle. Do you keep building by faith or do you give up in fear?

15) And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, …that God had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work. 16) So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. 17) Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. 18) Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.

To those who don’t know the whole story, it can be scary right now. But never fear, for we are stand in between the ending of one millennium and the beginning of the next.  But what do you do when you look at the things that are happening in the world? Do you give up? Do you quit?  Of course not. YOu build with one hand and you fight with the other. You use a hammer and a sword. When you are building the kingdom of God, you are building a business that transcends time. YOu are building on a kingdom rock that cannot be shaken.

“Even though things are shaking all around you,
you see with spiritual eyes, you listen with spiritual ears,
you hear the voice of God,
and you keep building until HE says otherwise.”

Haggai 2:6-7 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7) And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

I recently had a conversation with someone who said, “If Jesus is coming back so soon, why am I still building a business? What is this all for if we are not going to be here?” They were discouraged about the recent turn of events in the nation and feeling somewhat down. I understand. If I didn’t know better, I could feel the same way. There are 2 schools of thought on the earth right now. One group thinks the enemy is going to win and the church just needs to keep a low profile until Jesus comes to rescue his bride.
The other group thinks that a major turn of events is on the horizon and that a triumph church is stepping into her place in the kingdom. This camp thinks that the falling away is the removal of fake church and dead weight so that the true kingdom builders will emerge with authority, power, anointing, and will usher in the greatest move of God the earth has ever seen. To do that, God must keep his promise to those believers who have been standing on the word of God concerning the transfer of wealth in these last days.
I pick Door number 2! The kingdom is built on a foundation that cannot be shaken. If you are building your business on that rock…
Keep BUILDING! Join us this Saturday so we can help you build!
