GOD IS SETTING A PLUMBLINE

Last night, I did a 4 part teaching on preparing for harvest. One point I mentioned was the video by Benny Hinn talking about his shift in teaching regarding the prosperity message. In her message today, Patricia King brings clarity to the message Benny Hinn released. It makes so much sense that the kingdom of God is required to come into alignment with the heart of God. I have often contended that ONLY HOLY SPIRIT should tell you what to sow, when to sow, and how much TO GIVE. For years the church has been under the influence of well-intended people who had often fallen victim to a spirit of greed and manipulation. That has to change. The church has to do self-correct.
I for one receive this word! Yes and AMEN and Yeah God!
One reason I ask the three questions when people join the Chayil Circle is to highlight the reality that you are a part of an eternal kingdom. Support for all ministry is a heart issue for every believer. God is the one who holds us accountable for our commitments. As a teacher of the Word, my job is to obey God and teach as HE INSTRUCTS ME. The job of each member of Christ Body is to take that word and bear fruit with it. Then as the Holy Spirit instructs sow accordingly. No ONE CAN TELL YOU WHAT TO SOW!!!
FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD, I EXHORT YOU TO ALWAYS CONNECT WITH THE HEART OF GOD OVER YOUR GIVING. ASK HIS WISDOM, LISTEN TO HIS INSTRUCTION, AND OVEY HIS VOICE.
This message is so Good in reminding us all to look to God as our source, to honor him in our giving and to not allow ourselves to be manipulated and controlled by well-intended–but deceived PEOPLE. We must guard against people who are being influenced by a spirit of greed and coercion. God loves us enough to correct us and give us all the chance to make adjustments and come into alignment with his will. We will also avoid a spirit of condemnation and judgment. Everyone makes mistakes. When we know better, we do better. As a mentor once said, keep your mouth off ALL of GOD’s people, even the ones God is working on. That includes all of us!
LET LOVE BE OUR HIGHEST AIM!
God is setting a Plumbline! What is a plumb line God places a plumb line in the book of Amos. A plumb line is a weight suspended from a string used as a vertical reference line to ensure a structure is centered. the plumb line finds the vertical axis (like our vertical relationship with God) pointing to the center of gravity (like the center of our heart), they ensure everything is right, (God’s righteousness) justified (justification by the blood of Jesus) and centered (in the word of God).
Amos 7:7-8
