Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh, My!

Sometimes people need to have a conversation about the end times just to get them thinking. That’s what this topic, Lions and tigers and bears Oh, My! is designed to do. All you need to do is give them “reasonable doubt” about their unbelieving ways. When they say they don’t believe in God, that statement is usually based on a lack of insight into the scriptures. So. A great strategy is to give them just enough scripture to ignite “reasonable doubt” into their unbelief. At the same time, you inspire a desire to check the scriptures. Then God can take it from there.

Most of the time they will walk away and go find a bible to read the scriptures you drop into their minds. That is what we want. You bring the seed and let God water it and increase it.

Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh, My!

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. Genesis 1:26-27

So God created man and made him look like God, a sort of God Jr. (A child always looks like its parent). Then God gave Adam When God created man, He gave man dominion (power of control, right of uncontrolled possession, use, and disposal) over the animals. The animals came to Adam and he named them. Up until this point, there was no death in the garden. This perfect environment was free of killing until Adam and Eve sinned. At that point God killed an animal and gave them skins to cover themselves. At this introduction of sin, we don’t know if animals feared man or not.

In fact, it wasn’t until Noah that we hear about God interjecting fear into animals in Genesis 9 because Noah had just disembarked from the ark. At that point, man was clearly vulnerable because there were only 8 people on the planet.

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Genesis 9:1-2

Today animals fear mankind. When I open my blinds on my patio, the squirrels jump in the trees, and the birds fly off. If there is a deer in my yard, they run away. But in the tribulation, that changes.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and the name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, 1) to kill with sword, and with 2) hunger and 3) with death, and 4) with the beasts of the earthRevelation 6:8

But what will happen during the Tribulation? There will be a rapid acceleration in death in the first 3 ½ years. Death will happen in 4 primary ways. 25% of the people will die by 1) WAR 2) FAMINE 3) DEATH 4) THE BEAST OF THE EARTH. We don’t know what that will look like but you can deduct that if there is famine and starvation, people will become food. Could it be that the animals in mass will no longer be afraid of mankind?

That’s something to think about.

So if you read this article and want to know how to avoid the Great Tribulation Period and how to be ready for the rapture, the answer is simple, You need to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9-13 says, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

So pray this prayer,

Dear God,

I come to you in the name of Jesus.

I accept that Jesus came into this world to save me.

I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that He was raised again from the dead for me.

Jesus, I confess you as Lord today. Please come into my life and be my Lord and Saviour. I say today, before God and people, that I belong to Jesus.

Thank you, God, for saving me from my sins. Thank you, Lord God, for forgiving me of my sins and granting me life and love for all of eternity.

If you prayed that prayer, Jesus heard you and you are now saved. Now, you need to connect with other believers in Christ and learn how to build a relationship with Jesus. We have a community and lots of online resources to help you do that.
