The cause of God
Over these past weeks and months, I have shared many posts about God‘s agenda, and Satan‘s agenda. I have talked about the cause of God.
This morning as I was praying and doing my own meditation, this passage about David came to mind. As he went to deliver food and provisions to the front line for his brothers, David was shocked to find that no one was willing to confront Goliath. This giant demon was putting to shame the people of God.
David shows up and says, is there not a cause? In that statement, I hear so many questions relevant to the church and the body of Christ today.
Isn’t there something we are supposed to be standing up for?
Aren’t there people that God loves worth defending?
Isn’t there a kingdom of God worth fighting for?
Isn’t there a nation called the United States of America that’s worth saving?
Is there not a cause?
In a few short days, millions of Americans are going to be voting for a cause. The question is whose cause will you be voting for? Will you be voting for the cause of God? Will you be voting for those things that matter in the eternal scheme?
Will you be voting in repentance to answer the blood of 60 million babies that have died? Will you be voting in repentance for the cause of God to remove the curse, the stain of blood on our nation that these deaths have brought?
Will you be voting for the advancement of the kingdom of God and the spread of the gospel, or will you be voting to accelerate the arrival of the New World order? Make no mistake, you will be voting for one or the other.
Will you be voting for the rights of children to pray in school or will you be voting to remove one nation under God from the Pledge of Allegiance?
Will you be voting for the rights of the church to remain essential and seated at the core of the American Christian life will you be voting for the closure of churches until Jesus comes?
Will you be voting for the advancement of the pedophilia agenda to open the nation up further so that our children will legally be violated by pedophiles? Who’s cause will you be voting for?
Is there not a cause?
God has a cause. And those who know him will magnify him. They will rejoice. And God will take pleasure in them. And God will prosper them. And he will do it because they favor the cause of God.
Psalm 35:27 (NKJV)
Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
1 Samuel 17:29-32 Is there not a cause?
And David said, “What have I done now? Is there not a cause?”
30 Then he turned from him toward another and said the same thing; and these people answered him as the first ones did.
31 Now when the words which David spoke were heard, they reported them to Saul; and he sent for him.
32 Then David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”
