I hope the weather there is nice as it is here. Its a beautiful day. Go outside, it is a good thing to take a break from the television. There is way too much fear and its causing people to panic. Do not fear, love instead. Fear is a tormenting demon designed to bring you under its control. It wants to control your thoughts and your actions.
Fear wants to change your language and bring your words into agreement with the worst-case scenarios. It wants you to repeat what they are saying. The more you say “what they are saying,” the more you empower the tormenting demon of fear to manifest the things you are afraid of because our words have creative power. You will eventually see tomorrow what you are saying today. Change your language to reflect a heart of faith. There are more than 365 passages in the Bible that tell us not to fear. There’s one for every day of the year. Here are some of them.
Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
For I, the LORD your God will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ Isaiah 41:13
And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 2Kings 6:16
Fear is an enemy. It is the currency of control. Fear is to Satan what faith is to God. In order to produce anything in your life, Satan needs fear, and God needs Faith. So get on the God side of things. In the place of fear, you can have power, love, and soundness of mind. For God has not given you a spirit of fear. He had given you a spirit of power. He has given you his love. He has given soundness of mind. Do not fear, love instead.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
If you are having difficulty with fear, you don’t have a fear problem you have a faith problem. And if your faith is not working you don’t have a faith problem you have a love problem. Because faith works by love. So, again, do not fear, love instead.
...but faith working through love. Galatians 5:6
Faith without action is dead. To activate your faith, get the word of God out and put it in your mouth. Then ask the Holy Spirit, “How can I show the love of God today?” It could be praying for people who are struggling. Helping buy food. Etc. Call them on the phone. Pray for them. Give a word of encouragement. Tell a joke and make them laugh. Find a scripture and give them a word for today, some “daily bread.” Help a friend or neighbor who can’t go to the store with groceries. Make some masks. There are so many little things you can do. Just get busy working the love in you.
James 2:18 (NKJV)
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:20 (NKJV)
But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:26 (NKJV)
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
As you put your faith to work, Love goes into action because Love is a word of action. And when you take action it activates faith. It removes the negatives and opens us up for the positives. Love In every situation. And here is the really good news, Perfect love casts out fear! Like bleach on a stain! Love removes fear from the premises. So there you have it. Do not fear, love instead!
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18
