What God has for you is for you. I’ve heard this quote often and the truth it bears is sound. When God wants to prosper and increase you nothing can stop it. You will receive of his hand and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop the flow of his abundance and goodness.
That is no one except you. Looking at what someone else has received and wanting it for ourselves is the fastest way to short-circuit the flow of goodness into our own lives. Trust God for his blessings to manifest in your life in his timing. There’s no need to desire that which belongs to another.
Because what belongs to someone else may never belong to you. Remember, God still called Bathsheba the wife of Uriah Long after her husband was dead. She may have been married to David, but in God’s mind she was still Uriah wife. 2 Samuel 12:15
