Intentionality

In his book the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey touted the principal of beginning with the end in mind or being intentional.
Intentionality is knowing what you want before you ask for it. It’s knowing where you going before you leave. Intentionality is defining your outcome before you take the actions necessary to create it. Intentionality is all about pre-creation. Because all things are created four times. First you create it in the realm of thoughts. So to be intentional means to give thought to what you want. It takes the excuses out of our behaviors. If you think about it with focus and clarity you can project the outcomes before you take action on the goal.
Next you created when you talk about it. You frame the world of your thoughts with the words of your mouth. Intentionality means I will speak the things I want to create on purpose. And I avoid saying things that I do not want to create by default.
Third we create when we write down a particular vision that we expect and desire to manifest. Writing things down makes thoughts concrete. And finally we created when we take action and perform the necessary steps to bring it into existence.
God is so amazing! Because everything he does, is done with absolute intentionality. God’s choice is always intentional. He picks us. He chooses us for distinct purposes that he has long thought out before we arrive on the scene. Being a creative force in the universe is all about intentionality. We become like the father who created us all. He makes his choices well In advance and begins with the end in mind.
Deuteronomy 7:6-9

6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
