L – O – V – E = T – I – M – E
I read this several years ago and it still touches me. Love equals time. Time with the people you love is so precious. We waste a lot of it being angry with each other. We waste a lot of it lying to each other. We waste so much time by hiding our true selves from the people we love the most.
My mother often said, “Just tell the truth so you can get on with your life.” Lies and half truths are time consumers. Because we consume much time trying to figure out ways to hide the truth. If we just told the truth, it would free us to live authentic lives. Authencity is a straight highway. It is a direct path to what we desire. For most of us, that desire is to be accepted. To be loved for who we really are. It is to spend our days enjoying knowing others and being know by them.

“Time is your most precious gift
because you only have a set amount of it.
You can make more money,
but you can’t make more time.
When you give someone your time,
you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back.
Your time is your life.
That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
It is not enough to just say relationships are important;
we must prove it by investing time in them.
Words alone are worthless.
“My children, our love should not be just words and talk;
it must be true love, which shows itself in action.”
Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell
LOVE is “T-I-M-E.”
