What is your SOUL GOAL?
Proverbs 11:30 (NKJV) says,
The fruit of the righteous [is a] tree of life, And he who wins souls [is] wise.
So if the one who wins souls is wise, shouldn’t we be praying about bringing people into the kingdom on a daily basis, perhaps? One of my consistent desires is to pray for, Minister to, and/or lead someone to the Lord every day. I don’t always make it, but that’s the goal.
I am convinced that in this new era that began with 2020, God wants us to make soul winning a part of our daily objective. It’s been prophesied over and over about the billion soul harvest. We’ve also been praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit according to Joel chapter 2 verse 28.
But soul winning is a relational thing. It happens through connections. Personally I believe the best way to bring a person in the kingdom is one on one contact. But with all that we face on a daily basis, it’s easy to get distracted and forget about soul winning.
Personally, I have to fight against the spirit of complacency. Especially when it comes to telling people about Jesus. God wants us to be white hot on fire for the kingdom of God and spreading the gospel. It’s easy to get distracted by everything that’s happening in the earth and forget why we are doing what we are doing. It’s all because we need the time to spread the gospel.
We are contending in a contentious political atmosphere because we need the time to spread the gospel.
We are fighting against The expansion of communism and socialism which are all antichrist spirit so that we have time to spread the gospel. We are praying over this election and asking God to help us make right and righteous choices, so that we will have the time to spread the gospel.
It all goes back to that first scripture in Proverbs, “he who wins souls is wise. So in light of all the challenges the church is experienced in 2020, what are you doing, What am I doing to spread the gospel? Because at the end of the day, that is the heart of God. He wants us to get the gospel out and make sure that all have heard before Jesus comes.
So once again, what is your soul goal? The best way to inspire yourself and to stir up the gift of soul winning — that is already alive and you is to get into the word of God and read scriptures that stir of your heart and refocus your mind towards the things that matter to God. Souls matter to God. Bring people into the kingdom matters to God. Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, ministering to those who are in prison, taking care of the widows, the orphans and those who are lost — that matters to God.
Soon people will begin looking towards the new year of 2021, As you start that process of goalsetting, set a SOUL GOAL. Ask God what is your role in soul winning for 2021.
If you really want to jump start that process, how about giving Jesus a new soul in the kingdom as a Christmas present. Just one person. Bring one person into the kingdom of God as a gift to the Savior for his birthday.
