Recently, I heard a message about this scripture that completely transformed my thinking about this passage…
It goes something like this …
John 15:16 says…
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
That phrase “give it you” That is powerful! Not in the sense that GOD Gives THINGS TO US because it did not read “give it TO you.”
Rather, I think of God more and more as a partner. First, he packages you and puts knowledge, skills, ability, resources, history, etc. inside of us. And like a Lego Kit, he visualizes all the combinations of what we can become. But the ultimate decision about what we become, accomplish and achieve is up to us.
Thus, the phrase “GIVE –IT –YOU!” You see, what ever you ask for has creation potential. You ask for a job, God doesn’t just give you the job—HE GIVE YOU — AS A GIFT — TO THE JOB! As creators, we can influence what the things –around us –become– TO US.
You are a creator, now you can look at the job you asked for and tell it what it is! You ask for a relationship, you can create the relationship you want—because in the same way you receive the relationship, or business, or job or whatever—GOD ALSO GIVES YOU TO IT.
YOU ARE THE GIFT TO THE SITUATION. YOU ARE THE GIFT TO THE CHALLENGE. YOU ARE THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION! YOU ARE THE MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE!
SO MR OR MS CREATIVE FORCE—GO BE THE GOD IN THE EARTH YOU WERE CREATED TO BE! SPEAK TO THE THINGS IN YOUR LIFE AND TELL THEM WHAT TO BE—!
Because God just GAVE — IT —- YOU!
